Drunk Driver Injury Attorneys

We represent victims who have been injured by a drunk driver.  In Texas, it is illegal to drive with a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) of .08 or higher.  Nevertheless, people continue this grossly negligent behavior every day, which, according to Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) kills approximately 17,000 people each year in the US.  MADD further estimates that 500,000 Americans are injured annually in drunk driving wrecks and that drunk driving will affect one out of every three people.

So what can be done to deter this reckless behavior and compensate the victims for their injuries?  The answer is twofold:  (1) the drunk driver needs to be criminally prosecuted with the full assistance of the victim, and (2) the victim and his/her family needs to file a civil lawsuit to hold the drunk driver financially responsible for the medical bills, pain, mental anguish, physical impairment, loss of income, and sometimes death of the victim.
