Auto Insurance Claim Attorneys

The attorneys at Tate Law Offices represent our clients to collect from automobile insurance companies when our clients have been injured in a vehicle accident.  The insurance claims process is a very frustrating and confusing process designed by insurance companies to either deny or pay as little as possible to injured victims for their bodily injuries and damage to their auto.  The representatives of insurance companies are known as insurance adjustors and they routinely deny legitimate claims.  However, our lawyers know how to develop a case so our clients are in a position to maximize the value of their case.

Under Texas auto insurance law, the owner of a vehicle is required to carry, for an accident in which the driver is liable, the minimum coverage amount required by the state of Texas financial responsibility law which is $30,000 for each injured person, up to a total of $60,000 per accident, and $25,000 for property damage.

In addition to this Texas mandatory insurance, Texas auto policies can include optional insurance coverage for uninsured motorists (UM) or underinsured motorists (UIM), which pays for injuries to you, the policyholder and occupants of your vehicle, for injuries caused by another driver who either had no insurance or not enough insurance.  Also, Medical Payments coverage (Med Pay) and Personal Injury Protection coverage (PIP) are other forms of optional insurance that can be used to pay for medical bills and lost income for you and occupants of your vehicle.

On the property damage side (damage to your vehicle) comprehensive insurance can compensate you for theft or damage to your vehicle not caused by a collision and collision insurance can be used to pay you for damage to your own vehicle caused by a collision.

However, with all this said, our ultimate goal is to always make the at-fault driver’s insurance company pay our clients for all of their damages.

Every insurance company has a different claims process, but all are designed to benefit the insurance company and pay out as little money as possible.  Our attorneys have filed Texas insurance claims and lawsuits involving all of the following insurance companies:
